In January 2019, Athora completed the acquisition of Generali Belgium SA, which offers a broad range of insurance solutions to retail and corporate clients in Belgium.

Hands-on professional with a proven track record in delivering large IT programs in the Financial Services or Consulting industries


Job description


  • Reporting to the Director, M&A and Integration based in Dublin, the IT Integration Manager is responsible for the planning, day-to-day management and successful delivery on-schedule and on-budget of large integration programs resulting from acquisitions in Europe.
  • The Program Manager owns and understands the overall scope of the integration and identifies and manages the business risk exposure associated with the transformation process.
  • The Program Manager oversees and manages multiple work streams, each with its own Project Manager, and develops structured project plans, RAID logs and resource plans in collaboration with the Project Managers.
  • He is responsible for day-to-day management of the program and team and for driving it forward successfully, ensuring everyone on the team is focused on delivering to the plan.
  • The Program Manager is responsible for the overall integrity of the program, including program governance, monitoring, compliance, quality assurance and budget management in line with the Integration Program Office guidelines.
  • He manages constructively the relationships with key stakeholders and manages third party delivery partners and vendors
  • He is responsible for change management and communication for the Program




  • You are educated to BSc standard minimum and have 15+ years of experience in successfully managing large and complex 10m+ IT programs within the Financial Services of Consulting industries
  • You have a strong customer focus and cultural awareness to operate in a complex, multi-country environment and are capable of building strong, meaningful relationships with internal and external parties alike, with demonstrable skills at middle to senior levels
  • You have project management skills associated with those required in delivering large change within a Global or European corporate environment, PMP/Prince 2 and APM certified or equivalent.
  • You have a results oriented, "can-do" attitude and are adaptable, flexible and resourceful to work through short and long-term issues, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • You are people oriented and have a solid experience in change and stakeholder management, capable of setting the direction and working across organizational boundaries
  • Languages required – English and French
  • You are located in Belgium and are willing to travel in Europe, managing large integration programs in function of acquisitions made.
