LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT RESPONSIBLE

Your function

 

  • You develop an inspiring learning & development strategy based on an identification of Matexi's required competencies and development needs, necessary to support further growth.
  • You cultivate educational programs and learning solutions in order to optimally develop employees on these competencies in a pragmatic and efficient way.
  • You create a knowledge company culture-based upon an open and motivating climate that includes knowledge, expertise, teamwork and personal development.
  • You work together with the internal expertise centers allowing knowledge sharing to grow via learning networks.
  • You are the gatekeeper for the implementation, quality control and follow-up of the training and learning solutions. Thereby, you build a good relationship with the training suppliers.
  • In collaboration with your HR colleagues, you will contribute to an action plan for the introduction of talent- and competency management within the organisation. You work closely together with the management team.
  • You actively track new trends and developments regarding the learning & development theory/practice and how these can contribute to Matexi's success.

 

Your profile

           

  • You combine relevant higher studies with a minimum of 10 years of experience in learning & development, preferably in a knowledge company or a larger organisation. Preferably you have experience within a role as "Training Coordinator".
  • You are able to easily link short-term operational action points to long-term strategic goals.
  • Your critical view enables you to question and optimize current processes.
  • You identify yourself with the Matexi values of customer orientation, integrity, accuracy and drive.
  • You are organised, able to work independently and have a sense of entrepreneurship.
  • A good knowledge of French and English is important.
