PB Gelatins provides a complete range of high quality collagen proteins (gelatin) and supplies a growing market in food, pharma, health, nutrition and technical applications from seven production sites that are located in Asia, Europe, North America and South America. PB Gelatins belongs to the top three in the world in its sector, and is one of the Business Units of Tessenderlo Group, a worldwide specialty company with more than 100 branches in 21 countries, and employs more than 4 700 people.

To lead the change in close partnering with the business


Job description


Lead the plant through the transformation required for it to return to solid performance. This entails recruitment, setting up the right structures, learning and development, performance management, etc. while ensuring the relationships with the Social Partners throughout the change. The total population on site if of 220 people, consisting of blue collars, white collars, and some people working at Global Headquarter. The site operates in a full continuous mode.


Key result areas are:


  • You ensure a structured change plan is defined and implement it to bring the plant back to solid performance.
  • You put in place the required structures
  • You ensure the right people are hired and put in the right positions
  • You foresee the required training and development for people on the floor to be performant
  • You make sure that safety is high on the agenda for everybody in the plant
  • You maintain good relations with the social partners and liaise with them to ensure the results are delivered
  • You report to the Group HR Director, with whom you work closely together.




  • You hold a Master degree.
  • You have min. 10 years of relevant experience in generalist HR Management in a production environment.
  • You have a pragmatic solution oriented approach.
  • You have experience in change management and in social relations.
  • You partner with the business and work close to the floor.
  • You have strong influencing and communication skills.
  • You are well connected (internal/external).
  • You have an enthusiastic and driven personality and are eager to learn.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English and have a good knowledge of French. Spanish is a plus.
