GENERAL MANAGER

The General Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, service and sales and has overall accountability for leading and directing the team to achieve revenue, budget and customer service goals by ensuring that company standards of performance are developed and met.

Main Responsibilities:
* Develops and communicates cooperative policies and results, providing solutions for day to day problems.
* Organizes regular staff meetings and builds an environment in which employees willingly produce maximum results.
* Develops annual operating budget as well as all project budgets and oversees them.
* Develops strategic plan with the Board by studying technological and financial opportunities; presenting assumptions; recommending objectives.
* Identifies the needs of the marketplace and determine the appropriate course of action necessary to deliver solutions (including products and services) to clients in this market.
* Leads the efforts to grow the business.
* Develops and nurtures key client relationships, providing the foundation for a long term strategic partnership.
* Coaches, mentors and motivates a strong team of business and technical professionals.
* Analyzes and trends relevant market data to manage operational performance and develop accurate forecasts.
* Implements the Board's vision and mission statements. Provides direction to team regarding duties, responsibilities and goals.
* Continuously projects the company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, vendors, and employees; enforcing ethical business practices.
* Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
* Develops a marketing plan and oversee its execution.

Qualifications:
· Degree in Business.
* Proven experience in a Director of Sales / General Manager-type / business operation lead position (5+ years) working within an environment dealing with complex RFP processes ideally
* Must be a self-starter who can work with little supervision and is driven to achieve sales targets
* Must have worked in a sales capacity ideally from the healthcare sector
* Proven ability to work effectively with and across all levels of business within large and complex organizations
* Ability to understand client business drivers and objectives, and the ability to translate those into a business and operational plans that can be successfully delivered upon.
* Willingness to travel when needed.
