Title: Sales and Operations Manager
Location: Toronto

The Sales and Operations Manager is responsible for meeting and exceeding company goals for profitable revenue growth. He/she is responsible for developing the commercial and marketing strategy set up for the region. He/she will be in charge of the local organization, the support of partners and customers in order to create growth, the marketing and the profitability of the client brands.

RESPONSBILITIES:
Sales Cultivation and Development:
* Define the main sales strategy taking into account local intelligence and agreed upon budgets
* Build sales forecasts, budget and operational plans
* Define and track sales metrics
* Conduct relevant analyses to improve sales agents' performance
* Implement specific strategy depending on the capabilities and commitment of local partners
* Manage, support and motivate the sales team on a daily basis (commitment, target, objectives, etc.).
* Set up prices and margin structure depending on the level required by top management
* Negotiate main partners' and customers' prices, activities and marketing support
* Prospect for new customers or partners
Planning and Marketing:
* Create specific activities and promotions adapted to the market
* Follow up with promotional activities
* Organize and implement sales staff training sessions
* Regularly communicate all relevant and necessary information to stakeholders
* Follow up and report local activities and pertinent initiatives from primary competitive brands
Supervising Canadian office:
* Report subsidiary activity to European headquarters
* Use data to drive operational and productivity improvements
* Supervise all sales activity and initiatives
* Supervise sales and administrative team (total of 10)
* Set up strict and relevant operational procedures to avoid any logistical or inventory errors
* Improve P&L monitoring and follow accounting processes and reporting

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related disciplines
* Minimum of 10 years of B2B sales experience required, with at least five years of sales management experience
* P&L and national or key strategic account business experience
* At least eight years of sales experience in consumer goods
* Proven track record in managing both the sales and operational sides of the business
* Strong written and oral cross functional communication skills in both English and French
* Aggressive, target driven, excellent communication skills with strong sales competence
