Our client is a global player, manufacturer and supplier of high-precision, high-complexity and performance-critical components.

* Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Europe and America the prime purpose of this role is to quickly gain new listings with the Major Clients/Partners by assisting the executive management in establishing and managing sales across the European territory.
* You can be based out of Germany or Benelux with regular travel across Europe, the US and Asia.



KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

* Participate in strategic business development and review strategies to increase revenue and opportunities with existing and new customers;
* Identify relevant market segments and trends in the industry and provide direction for the sales team in business development for target markets and customers;
* Oversee sales growth comparing actual vs. planned performance and frequently evaluate sales reports as to capitalize on particular products in the targeted industries;
* Provide accurate and timely sales reports, sales management information and sound sales plans to top management for business development;
* Organize sales operations guide, plan for appropriate sales training programs and participate in product training meetings or sales skills seminars;
* Lead, build and develop an effective team by providing leadership and coaching to subordinates, identify talent and provide specific training to support career development;
* Develop and implement sales policies and procedures to better manage cross-regional sales activities;
* Liaise with the Group's regional offices and support cross-regional projects whenever necessary;
* Review and monitor account receivables of related customers and responsible team, make sure that outstanding items are well aware and followed through with related customers;
* Business travel within European countries will be required to develop new business opportunities or maintain contact to existing customers, occasionally business trips to China & Asia Pacific Region or U.S. are possible;



KEY SKILLS/TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or similar
* 15 years experience in a senior sales role within a multi-national manufacturing company with at least 8 years in a management position.
* Experience in manufacturing, including precision engineering, heavy duty, aerospace or automotive as well as casting product selling.
* Excellent command of the English language is required plus proficiency in another European language is desirable.
