Are you ready to play a key role in developing Conaxess Trade’s Nordic New Business- and Portfolio strategies for fuelling Conaxess’ growth?


The new Business Development Manager will become a key player in the dedicated Business Development team at Conaxess Trade’s office in Copenhagen. As Business Development Manager, you will be a key player in driving new business across Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. The team is driven by a determination to create profitable synergies according to local strategies and in close collaboration with the local Commercial Management teams.

In this role, your focus will be to analyse, build and recommend business cases based on strategic insights and an excellent commercial understanding. You must therefore be keen on the combination of attracting new brands to Conaxess Trade as well as developing our business model and the services we offer across countries.


In this role, you will be involved in the whole sales process. This includes everything from identifying leads, building solid customer cases showing how we can contribute to improving Brand owners business, building solid business cases, contract negotiations and secure a successful implementation of new business in our organization. 

In this process you will cooperate closely with our teams locally and at a Nordic level in order to secure:

  • Utilization of commercial insights to identify business opportunities for Brand owners
  • Delivery of detailed and correct calculated Business Cases with clear recommendations, in close collaboration with commercial back-up resources (i.e. Supply planning, Business Controlling, Legal partner)
  • Excellence in execution for approved business cases
  • Delivery of relevant market insights and trends to the Nordic entities
  • Efficient internal communication on new business projects

To be successful in the position, you will deliver on the following:

  • Contribute to achieving the annual New Business targets defined in the company budgets
  • Materialisation of new contracts; financial KPI´s (volume, Net Revenue and GP2)
  • Drive new business cases across Conaxess Trade Group

You have about 5-8 years of experience working within Retail, FMCG and/or market research and ideally worked with both sales and marketing. You are fluent in written and oral English and Danish. Adding to this, you have strong experiences working with the Microsoft Office package.

On a personal level you are a strong relation builder, goal oriented, able to work with both short and long term horizon and proactive. You have an analytical mind-set, strategic capabilities and an excellent commercial understanding. You arepassionate about business development and have a proactive, energetic mind-set combined with strong communication skills both written and orally.

You will report to Business Development Director Torben Bank Jensen, and be a part of the Business Development team focusing on driving new business and developing our activities in the Nordics. The team work aroung all categories and are highly determined and ambitious in its approach to developing Conaxess’ business and differentiating its business model in the market.
