Carlsberg Global Business Services (GBS) offers you the opportunity to join a highly engaged team in Logistics & Planning, where you will act as expert and set the direction together with the business within S&OP. Carlsberg is ambitious about optimizing and making their S&OP processes even more cost efficient, with a strong focus on implementing excellence and best practice across countries, regions and at a Global level.


As part of Planning, you will:

    • drive continuous improvements of processes together with key stakeholders across countries and functional levels.
    • provide insight on best practices and market trends in S&OP.
    • understand key business drivers and lead the development of solutions that target those needs.
    • support and educate Group, Supply Chain, Regions and Markets in understanding and aligning to Carlsberg’s process model.
    • ensure both local and global initiatives and ideas are respected whilst driving standardisation.
    • ensure that internal and external best practice is reflected when changes are to be introduced to the Carlsberg business model.


The Job

As Business Process Manager (BPM) for S&OP / IBP, you will identify and drive initiatives that will propel Carlsberg toward a world-class S&OP process, system and operation. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to evaluate and prioritize opportunities for transformational change.


The role has a strong business and process focus, and a high attention to internal stakeholders at all levels and across regions. Your critical activities include, amongst others

    • Actively supporting and prioritizing the functional Roadmap.
    • Business case development, execution, and value realization.
    • KPI / PPI development.
    • Project leadership.
    • Driving continuous improvement activities by identifying process improvement opportunities within and across end-to-end processes.
    • Requirements/Change Request evaluation and recommendations.
    • Process Design, Implementation, Execution, Monitoring, and Documentation.
    • Actively promoting organisational alignment across GBS and with the functions.
    • You should expect 30-50 travel days yearly.



    • A minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience, and with strong subject matter expertise in S&OP, combined with either SAP IBP experience or another ERP system knowledge.
    • Project management experience within the S&OP area, having driven excellence and optimization of processes.
    • Change management experience regarding new processes and transformations.
    • Hands-on experience from planning in a complex system landscape.
    • The ability to understand the benefits and challenges of having a standard end-to-end process model
    • A strong customer orientation with an understanding of customer requirements
    • Good knowledge and experience with development and implementation of standard process models
    • Fluency in English – written and spoken, additional European languages are a plus.
    • BA / BSc in relevant subject, e.g. Supply Chain Management, Engineering.

    • Fluent in English.
