Unique opportunity for a Senior Finance Professional with Supply Chain insight

Your role works closely together with the CEO and the leadership team that are modern, dynamic and with a strong online-presence. One of your finest tasks is to define and support the ambitious growth strategy, and later to increase the number of investors or sell the company. This role offers an invaluable insight in how to run, strengthen and steer a company within a growth scenario.

Your Role
As part of an entrepreneurial business, your role is broadly defined and is expected to develop together with the realization of the ambitious business plans. With a team of 5 people within bookkeeping and supply chain, you take an active role yourself. Your primary responsibilities are to manage and control finances, to oversee the optimization and operation of supply chain incl. sourcing and procurement, and to serve as “wingman” to the CEO and management team. Currently, systems and several processes are implemented and in use, and your focus is thus to streamline and continuously improve processes. Also, you are to develop, motivate and build a strong team and team-spirit.

Primary tasks are:

  •  Financial and business controlling.
  •  Budgeting, forecasting, cost-controlling and following-up on individual functions.
  •  Accounting, quarterly-, bi-annually and yearly reporting (to the management team, the board and investor) for the entities.
  •  AP/AR, cash management, taxes, and VAT.
  •  Optimizing operations processes and procedures from production to warehouse.
  •  Streamlining and optimizing procurement, and e.g. increasing volume of scale.
  •  Business controlling suppliers’ deliveries in time, according to quality and correct volume.
  •  Supporting management team and the Board of Directors.
  •  Participating in strategy development (definition and activation) and execution.

Your Profile
We imagine you to be a leader with a genuine interest in motivating, engaging with and developing others. Next to your leader role, you have an interest for going into details, having own tasks and taking an active part in the problem-solving. Towards your stakeholders, you are communicative, proactive, and modern-thinking. You would most likely describe yourself as structured, direction-setting and process-oriented, and with a true motivation for continuous improvements.

Your professional skills include:
 Auditing from an accounting firms, with experience from the full financial cycle from AR/AP to corporate financial statements.
 As a supplement to auditing, you have worked in a Nordic or international set-up with more entities and cost-centers, with hands-on experience with accounting and financial controlling.
 Experience with cost- and business controlling from a sales-oriented environment.
 Insight in or experience from a supply chain management environment and processes.
 Some management experience is required to have seasoned you as a leader.
 Academic credentials at Bachelor or Master level in auditing.
 Fluent in English and Danish, and with strong skills in Excel and PP, and used to work with ERP systems.
