TDC is in the midst of an exciting transformation, where their network operations and infrastructure are established as a stand-alone company called NetCo. The customer base consists of wholesales customers and OpCo. It presents a unique opportunity to build all central business processes and systems from scratch and requires several new specialists and managers. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of an exciting journey.

The Head of Digital First and Front-end (DFF) will join NetCo at an important time for several reasons; one being that an RFI/RFP for a new BSS system has been initiated, incl. development of API’s and a new Front-end. In this process, you will develop and maintain systems enhancing customers’ and NetCo’s digital journey incl. the digital channels and other relevant channels. You will be part of the IT management team and will report to the Senior Vice President for IT.

The primary responsibilities include three central areas being general business management, people management, and interaction with customers and interfaces. You will work in a highly digitalized and agile environment with tribes as well as continuously identify trends in digitization as well as map customer journeys and look at how to enhance CX (Customer Experience).

Your team will consist of internal and external resources; many of whom, you have selected and who are delivered through your near/off-shoring partners. To the team and in NetCo’s IT management team, you will provide leadership, strategic mindset and implement best practice methods, structures and processes.

Your key deliverables will be:
• Develop, drive and deliver needed material and reports to enable the achievement of the overall strategic plans, financial targets and objectives.
• Define and drive digitization strategies in NetCo IT, enhancing and automating the customer journey while increasing customer satisfaction and experience.
• Identify relevant channels for communication and interaction with customers and ensure their effectiveness.
• Build new Digital First and Front-end unit to achieve overall NetCo strategy and transformation.
• Drive simplification, standardization and automation of processes and tools.
• Be an active driver of restoration of services in the event of incidents obstructing business execution.
• Build structure and capabilities in DFF and NetCo IT.
• Cooperate with Wholesale and interact with senior executives within and outside NetCo IT and NetCo.
• Lead by example and handle change management and ensure engagement and motivation.

Your success criteria will be to secure maintenance and development of Front-end, customer journey and CX systems, and understand current systems and suggest future proof scalable renewals. Also, you will drive a modernization in software development and maintenance, e.g. DevOps, Microservices, organization in Tribes, guild etc.

You hold 5-10 years of experience with SW development, Front-end, Customer Journey and Digitization in large complex organizations, from TelCo, or from an IT Vendor or an outsourcing partner. Your experience includes specifically having worked with near/off-shore outsourcing such as India, Eastern Europe and the like. Also, you have knowledge in eTOM and TOGAF. Your leadership skills are proven and recognized and the same with your ability to create a winning team culture. You compliment your experience with academic credentials on B.Sc. or M.Sc. level in Computer Science, Business Economics or the like.

In your work and leadership, you demonstrate ambitions to create something truly unique. You are stress resilient, robust and with strong influencing and conflict management skills. Though sometimes acting in a chaotic setting, you maintain focus and structure, and never lose sight of the goals.

Location is NetCo’s headquarter in central Copenhagen, and it is expected that you live within a reasonable distance to be able to commute daily. There will be limited travelling to near/off-shore partners and other stakeholders. Working language is English in which we expect that you speak and write fluently.
