We are looking for an experienced IT professional, who is excellent in delivering services and support within IT infrastructure and workplace solutions. The role is for one of our clients and will become part of a team of Service Delivery Managers supporting different regions. The role entails people management for a small team and delivering of services through an external provider, and it will be exposed to senior management at Corporate level and across different business and IT disciplines.

Workplace is Copenhagen and travelling is limited to 20-30 days yearly.

The Role
The objective is to help our client’s workforce be more productive and to support the digital transformation through great user experiences. The role acts as bridge between the business and IT and leads a team of dedicated people and outsourcing partners that provide the daily support and services. A key criterium is to provide services and solutions that are within scope of budget and standards (as much as possible). Some of the primary tasks are to:

  • manage onsite support and IT infrastructure specialist team successfully towards agreed objectives.
  • secure clear ownership and support agreements around all local infrastructure components.
  • participate in infrastructure changes and implementation of global IT infrastructure initiatives.
  • identify skills gaps in his/her market and accordingly ensure proper end user training and education.
  • forecast and budget control of licenses, IT equipment life cycle management, and IT services consumption.
  • drive planning, implementation and operations of all end user IT solutions for workplace services.

An important success criterium is to execute strong stakeholder management and to ensure that business objectives meet budgets and IT possibilities as much as possible.

The Profile
We expect that you have a background as Service Delivery Manager or similar of operations services (infrastructure, workplace) from either one of the consultancies or inhouse. You have strong competences in IT Infrastructure Management and ITIL, combined with a bachelor or master’s degree in IT or Economics. In your work, you show strong skills in project management and combine these with a project management certification. All this, you supplement with international experience and experience from outsourcing environments. Of course, you are fluent in English and perhaps speak one of the other Scandinavian languages.

As a person, you show excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business and IT languages, where you dare to challenge business needs and requirements to ensure a common best solution standard. You show a high sense of urgency and results orientation, combined with structured, organized and problem-solving skills. Your surroundings experience you as having a significant independent drive and ability to work within a continuously changing environment.
