Hudson are working in partnership with a growing Surfacing Developer in the Central Belt of Scotland, who have recently taken on license from American manufacturer an exceptionally exciting product which is a fast application yet permanent solution to potholes. This polymer based product will be a welcome solution to both local authority and private companies to the perennial problem of potholes. Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to help distribute this new exclusive product in Central Scotland and the North East of England.





The Role:




  • Represent the Business as the primary commercial contact for the Central Belt for potential and assigned customers

  • Contacting leads and conducting meetings with new business prospects

  • Self-sourcing leads and securing new business opportunities

  • Achieving set sales targets and objectives

  • Ensure high standards of professionalism and customer service, thereby creating referral and intermediary opportunities

  • Accountable for all sales and business development communication with assigned customers.

  • Lead preparation for all internal reviews with assigned customers, including executive preparation, working level alignment and definition of message.

  • Define the strategies for acquisition of new business and negotiate agreements




Skills & Experience:




  • Strong B2B sales background (preferably within the surfacing or paving industries)

  • Experienced negotiator

  • Excellent stakeholder manager and influencer

  • Target driven a self-motivated

  • Be able to evidence a history of meeting sales targets
