PROJECT PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT OFFICE (PPMO) MANAGER - Phoenix (USA)

 

Tasks and responsibilities

 

  • You will work closely together with TKI’s management team to identify, structure, monitor and execute major improvements initiatives within all TKI’s BU’s. In addition, you will implement project management’s best practices thereby improving efficiency in project execution and project reporting.
  • You drive continious changes and improvements throughout the company by taking initiative and making sure plans are set up, approved and implemented. As a key figure you guide the departements through the change processes and help determine the form of the organization.
  • You build bridges between the different TKI offices , Europe & USA, in order to create opportunities, build long-term international relationships and help move the company forward.
  • As part of the strategic PPMO team, you will help the BU’s to reach their strategic commercial plan and take care of the Project Portfolio Management
  • You will lead and guide the change management program (GPS) and work closely with all departments to make sure objectives are met.
  • As Project Manager you will set up a project structure and project plan and manage cross-functional teams/interactions to ensure that projects are successful, benefits are realized and value creation is assured

 

Profile

 

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Engineering (Bio-/Agro- preferrred) or Economics, and have 3 years’ experience in a simular industrial/ functional role, or top tier management consultancy position. Experience in the Agro sector is a definitive plus.
  • You have project management experience, and are used to work in a functional organization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English & Dutch. Knowledge of any other European Language is a plus. You must be able to communicate easily across all levels, inside and outside the organization
  • You have strong business acumen. You understand the business, the industry and developments in the market and you keep track of the developments in order to stay ahead of the competition and move the company forward.
  • You have a positive and enterpreneurial mindset with a can-do attitude
