To develop and implement the business and marketing plan of the Trouw Nutrition International Protimax product lines to achieve budgets Provide leadership and management to the Nutreco domestic USA market as well as EU, Mexico, Canada and other Opco's that can import egg products into their countries.


* Make business and marketing/sales plans for Protimax specialized egg in close cooperation with sales management and other Nutreco companies; this encompasses long term strategies as budgeting and action planning as well
* Gather, review, market research to propose and develop trial protocols for necessary Protimax research and implement agreed upon research using agreed upon protocols that aids in converting research data into effective sales tools and validation of value proposition to achieve TNUSA budgets
* Forecast and schedule production of Protimax to meet customer and TN needs
* Build a positive image of Trouw Nutrition within companion animal and agricultural industries in the USA, Mexico and Canada and within Nutreco operating companies.
* Direct resources to create and develop sales tools, promotion programs, brochures and creative advertising together with marketing communications personnel
* Assist in international sales of Protimax products
* Conduct product training seminars on new products to targeted audiences
* Manage Protimax marketing and R&D budget
* Development and implementation of Trouw's overall production and marketing strategy for Protimax family of products including competitive positioning of our products
* Forecasting production, costing, margins, extending and diversification of product lines
* Pre-launch, launch and post launch follow up of new products; support in making of sales plans; promotions fitting in the calendar year, coordinated with sales as defined by market and customer specifics
* Work with the appropriate ASC Specie Managers to gain acceptance of the inclusion of Protimax into applicable species and phases in the regional portfolio.
* Visual standards and consistency of all communications regarding the Protimax product group; compliance with visual standards of Trouw Nutrition Int'l
* Accountable for Protimax margin contribution
* Available to travel about 50%


* BS, MS or PhD degree in animal nutrition preferred
* Must have an immunology or microbiology background
* Swine background ideally
* Over 5 years of experience in Agri marketing/sales ideal; however, will look at individuals with a research background who would like to get into a marketing role.
* Computer skills in word processing, spread sheet applications, presentation applications and email programs
