Regional Sales Manager
Detroit, Michigan Region or Windsor, Canada

Would you be interested in being part of a newly created role, based in either Windsor, Canada or Detroit, Michigan reporting to Belgium?

As the Regional Sales Manager, RSM, you will be primarily focused on new business growth. The RSM will identify prospective customers and deliver new business from targeted accounts within the region, in accordance with the operational and strategic objectives of the company.
The Territory of focus will be primarily Michigan state, with occasional travel to other North American metropolitan areas including Mexico.
The target customers will be primarily the Automotive sector, with support in Aerospace, Industrial & Medical markets.


* Identify new business opportunities and develop the business cases and action plans to commercialise them.

* In conjunction with the Business Development Director, based in Belgium, determine all sales objectives for the territory. * Assist with the market research process and analyse / interpret the results.

* Assist with Trade Show exhibition planning, organising and implementation. Attend Industry Trade Shows, Seminars, B2B events and other business networking opportunities.

If you have at least 2 years of experience in a Sales Management role for a Contract Manufacturer (CM) to the Automotive Electronics and/or Mechatronics Industry in USA or Canada, we want to hear from you.
Knowledge of the Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS) industry (would be ideal but not mandatory).

The RSM will operate from a home office and be located near an international airport. Preferred locations include, without being limited to: Greater Detroit region, including Windsor (Canada). The RSM will make regular visits to new and existing customer accounts and to the Sherbrooke, Canada plant, to assist with customer visits and strategic planning
