It has been in business since 1912 & operates 3 diamond cutting factories in Botswana, Laos & Thailand & has a jewelry manufacturing division in Thailand.

Main Responsibilities:

* Develops and communicates cooperative policies and results, providing solutions for day to day problems.
* Organizes regular staff meetings and builds an environment in which employees willingly produce maximum results.
* Develops annual operating budget as well as all project budgets and oversees them.
* Develops strategic plan with head office; sales forecasting, presenting assumptions; recommending objectives.
* Identifies the needs of the marketplace and determines the appropriate course of action necessary to deliver solutions
* Leads the efforts to grow the business.
* Develops and nurtures key client relationships, providing the foundation for a long term strategic partnership.
* Coaches, mentors and motivates a strong team of sales professionals. Provides direction regarding duties, responsibilities and sales targets.
* Analyzes and trends relevant market data to manage operational performance and develop accurate forecasts.
* Develops a marketing plan and oversee its execution.
* Qualifications:

* Degree in Business (background in diamonds is ideal but not mandatory)

* Proven experience in growing a sales culture
* Must be a self-starter who can work with little supervision and is driven to achieve sales targets
* Must have worked in a sales capacity ideally from an industry that sells luxury products (ideally diamonds)
* Proven ability to work effectively with a Belgium based head office
* Ability to understand client business drivers and objectives, and the ability to translate those into a business and operational plans that can be successfully delivered upon.
* Willingness to travel when needed.

* Hands-on sales & business leader - Excellent interpersonal skills
* Proven leadership and staff development experience.
* Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail and follow-up.
* Someone who will deliver superior customer service, effective communication, influential and able to interact professionally with all types of customers, vendors and co-workers.
