Manchester, New Hampshire- Ability to work from home or live in the Boston Area.

The Position
Paragon Software Systems Inc is seeking to recruit an experienced Sales Person to play a key role developing sales further in the USA and to build on the company's success so far.
This role requires:
 Excellent sales skills and sound technical ability.
 The ability to effectively demonstrate PC based software via web demos and at client sites.
 The ability to take responsibility and lead sales opportunities.
 Strong written and verbal communication skills.
 A consultative approach to selling.
 The ability to communicate at all levels of an organization.
Successful applicants will be expected to have:
 At least 4 - 5 years business to business new sales and account management experience.
 A demonstrable track record of solution sales in either a software or logistics environment.
 A four year degree or equivalent.
 Knowledge of the logistics industry would also be an advantage.
In this strategically important role, the successful candidate would be based in Manchester, New Hampshire following an initial training period in the UK. They will report to our General Manager for North America. The role is likely to involve US wide travel to meet with prospects, understand their operational requirements and demonstrate the Paragon software.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
 Maintain a balanced pipeline through the use of cold calling, LinkedIn and our own CRM database
 Follow-up leads generated from: the Paragon website, marketing campaigns, advertising, exhibitions and conferences, and customer reference.
 Maintain their own pipeline using CRM software
 Demonstrate the Paragon Software on-site and via the web
 Prepare quotes and proposal documents for prospects
 Liaise with the Paragon Support Team in the USA and to ensure that prospect requirements are fully understood
 Close an agreed quota of business on an annual basis.
 Manage client accounts on an ongoing basis following initial sale.
 Attend exhibitions as directed
 Carry out Paragon Seminars as directed.
The role will involve working closely with Paragon's General Manager and there will be significant opportunity to influence the future growth of the sales business in the USA.
