Sales Manager, Data Processing Group

Business Process Solutions, LLC (BPS), headquartered in Briarcliff Manor, NY, has been providing back-office and BPO services to clients in the US and Canada since 1998 in specific vertical markets. We wish to expand our business into additional verticals, in particular Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) market. We are looking for a business development professional to help us achieve this goal.

BPS brings significant value to its clients for those data processing tasks, which are highly labor-intensive. We provide highly skilled and trained labor force to clients at a competitive cost.

Reporting directly to the CEO of the company, the Sales Manager will work independently and be responsible for the following:

- Prospecting: Make outbound calls, send outbound emails, utilize personal network of contacts and use social media tools like LinkedIn to create/uncover new opportunities for business, particularly in the BFSI market.
- Qualifying Leads: Evaluate potential business leads to determine if the task requirements match well with what we offer and whether we can bring value to the task using our production resources based in India.
- Nurturing Prospects: Communicate consistently with prospects to build relations
- Pilot projects: Generate opportunities to do pilot projects that can demonstrate our capabilities and how we can bring high value.
- Pricing: Develop and submit pricing by working closely with our operations and BPS principals.
- Closing the Sale: Work closely with prospects to close deals.
- Growing Business: Communicate and meet regularly with clients to grow business.

Successful candidate will:

- Bachelor's degree
- Five years of hands-on experience in selling labor-intensive, back-office data processing services to companies in the US and Canada
- Have a thorough knowledge of how the outsourcing process (related to data processing services) works, including general knowledge of typical tasks involved, such as scanning, data transfer, indexing, data extraction, databases, etc.
- Have a wide knowledge of potential client companies in the BFSI market and their general needs in the area of data processing, specific data processing tasks currently outsourced by the BFSI companies, typical decision makers and what they are most sensitive to, etc.
- Demonstrate ability to work independently
- Be highly motivated, persistent, responsible and conscientious
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Travel: between 25% to no more than 50%
