The role is expected to develop, support & maintain Essentra's apps in Americas region. Drive operational excellence, incident resolution & continued transformation in the applications area of Information Systems (IS) inside Essentra.

Responsibilities Include:
- Manage Requirements, Design, development, automation, support and maintenance of apps
- Ensure delivered solutions are effectively documented & ensure effective support of deployed solution
- System integration, quality validation, issue investigation and resolution
- Ensure delivered solutions meet business needs before the go live
- Contribute to strategic initiatives involving business critical applications
- Manage & align business priorities, issues/concerns are dealt with and communication driven across the teams

Our requirements
Ideally, the successful candidate should have experience in some of the following


* 5+ years of cumulative experience designing and developing applications on the Microsoft .Net platform using C#, ASP.NET, WCF, WPF, JavaScript, jQuery, and JSON (PHP preferred but not mandatory)
* 5+ years of experience in writing SQL queries and database development with MS SQL Server
* 2+ years of experience developing database applications for a manufacturer
* Knowledge of the following is a plus but not mandatory: MS Access, Excel Macros, Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, and QlikView
* Good requirements analysis, problem solving, troubleshooting, IT Systems management and analytical skills.
* Good understanding of software development lifecycle and programming best practices
* Experience in managing relationship with functional heads and coordination with multiple cross functional teams across multiple geographical locations
* Should have high energy, passion and drive for success
* Experience in working with business partners, development teams, help desk, software vendors/third parties
* Ability to work multiple deliverables at the same time and assist with issues regardless of time of day or day of the week
* Excellent written & verbal communication skills
* Able to travel up to 25%
