Technical Support Specialist
Denver, CO

Your responsibilities
The main responsibility of the Technical Support Specialist is to support (technically and commercially) the TechnoAlpin service and sales teams through the following:

* Technical settlement of upcoming (pipeline) and ongoing projects
* Coordinate and assist service technicians (Installation works)
* Prepare offers, interpret project specifications to find the best solutions for the customer, and pricing of the non-standard components
* Provide accurate and timely quotes in an effort to support new business opportunities
* Ensure timely delivery of purchase-to-order items
* Organize purchasing in timely manner and follow-up on the deliveries
* Organize service technician availability through Service Manager for installations
* Organize subcontracting in a timely manner (when needed)
* Establish good relationships with key suppliers (pumps, compressors, etc.)
* Act as a liaison between the Headquarters and local operations with product definition and communicating of local requirements

Our requirements

* Strong technical aptitude, consisting of understanding of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
* A two-year degree with relevant work experience or a bachelor's degree in a technical field is highly desired
* 3-5 years of total work experience - ideally strong electronics experience
* Proficiency in the Microsoft Office programs and an understanding of ERP systems
* Must be able to follow the company guidelines utilizing the available tools including the ERP system, published price books, and applying established margins to product and project quotes
* As a technical support person, the expectation is to understand complete systems that are sold through TechnoAlpin or single products that are a part of
* Must be an independent and self-motivated person
* Must have a strong problem solving ability, able to 'think on his feet'
* Drive to grow into a larger technical and sales support role
* Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time with heavier travel during peak project Season
