Spirits Multinaitonal company is searching for an Interim Iberia Sales Manager

1.2.1 Mission:

To develop product portfolio across the specified markets, driving growth substantially ahead of the category. Develop the relationship with the recently signed partner/distributor.

Continually driving improvements in our Route-to-Market in these markets, by identifying the optimal way to work with our in-market partner, to generate strategic alignment, transformational growth plans and excellent activation.

1.2.2 Functions

- Growth across Iberia, through inspirational commercial management, analysis and monitoring of results, building strong relationships that drive accelerated growth.

- Work alongside Spanish distributor to deliver the growth plan. Actively motivate, shape & influence commercial outcomes with key customers.

- Deliver detailed annual plans for Portugal, Andorra and Gibraltar to exceed budget.

- Train & motivate distributor sales teams, trade and consumers when in market.

- Pro-actively manage pricing & trading issues to ensure alignment with company and global brand strategy. Maintain and update monthly forecasts; clear and measurable KPIs.

- Together with Regional Director for Europe, develop a way of working that delivers perceptible increased influence with RTM partners and translates into accelerated growth over the next 5 years.

1.2.3 Requirements:

- 3 years of managing international business, with demonstrable success in identifying, engaging & building business through 3rd party distributors.

- Experience of managing Key Accounts, with strong understanding of how to manage the value chain. Experience of building drinks brands across different trade channels, particularly on-trade.

- Experience of selling premium brands, where maintaining price positioning is a strategic imperative.

- Previous drinks experience desirable, preferably in spirits.


1.2.4 Skills:

- Languages: Fluency in English, Spanish. Other local European languages an asset.

- Business / marketing qualification.

- Highly numerate.

- Constructs compelling business proposals.

- Marketing literacy, with an understanding of both consumer and customer disciplines.

- Able to cut to the heart of an issue, without being distracted by peripheral matters.
