About the department

 

As Market Manager you will be responsible for driving and implementing the strategy for the fastest growing product portfolio. You will report to the Country Manager and will be part of a team of 6 people: the extended management team.

 

Job summary

 

This is an exciting opportunity to drive the sales growth in the company, having the opportunity to work with truly innovative and market leading products.  You will be responsible for the strategic direction of the business in Belgium & Luxemburg. This is a role for an experienced and enthusiastic marketer who can take a strategic view of the market and identify growth opportunities.

 

To be successful you will develop a strategic marketing plan and execute campaigns through the sales team, and be able to communicate the product benefits to all customer groups. You will develop effective relationships to drive growth, which includes working with our global Products & Brands team to provide input on product development and our Consumer Marketing team.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Drive the local marketing strategy and provide strategic input to influence Global Marketing initiatives
  • Analyze and understand market dynamics to drive insights
  • Implement and execute approved programs, which include promotion, pricing, product improvement, and packaging plans
  • Drive local launches and campaigns from start to finish to ensure execution through the sales force and market uptake
  • Prepare and present campaigns and materials at national sales events
  • Track and analyze performance, market and competitor intelligence and take appropriate action
  • Initiate and optimize relationships with key opinion leaders and patient associations

 

Qualifications/Requirements

 

  • BSc/MSc in business, marketing or health sciences
  • Minimum 3/5 years of experience in marketing with a healthcare focus
  • Proven strong strategic and analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous sales experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to manage and build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Passion to make a difference
  • Fluent in English, Dutch and French
