COUNTRY SALES MANAGER

A general management position with a strong commercial orientation and a high degree of autonomy

 

Job description

 

You are responsible for the overall results of your Business Unit.

 

More specifically, you

 

  • drive and implement the company’s growth commercial strategy and take full P&L responsibility for your Business Unit;
  • evaluate current business processes, review performance data, set relevant KPI’s (sales, finance…) and determine appropriate actions to maximize profitability;
  • are actively involved in commercial activities, build key client relationships, identify new business opportunities and act as Key Account Manager;
  • develop, with a real “solution selling” approach, the network of distributors based in Belgium and Holland;
  • create a working environment with responsibility and a strong customer orientation;
  • inspire, drive, motivate, coach and develop your team of 7 people (sales, technical support, warehouse) in order to maximize potential;
  • manage financial budgets.

 

Profile

 

  • You are a (future) General Manager with a “hands-on” mentality.
  • You have proven sales and people management skills with a minimum of 10 years of business experience in a commercial environment, preferably with distributors.
  • You hold a Master degree, are business acumen and like technical stuff.
  • You have the ability to work with an organized, proactive and goal-oriented approach.
  • You have an excellent command of Dutch and English with a good knowledge of French.
  • This position can rapidly evolve towards a full general management position.
