Vyncke is a dynamic, highly technological family-owned company which, since its foundation in 1912, has grown into a global player in the sector of clean energy technology: the development and construction of customised waste-to-energy installations.  Worldwide there are over 310 Vynckeneers, as they call their employees, active in Brazil, Northern America, Belgium, Germany, the Czech Republic, India, China, Thailand and Malaysia.

Job description


  • You will translate the corporate strategy into a clear mission for the customer service approach in South-West Europe, Africa and Latin-America. You will define the service offer and manage the product information. You will be responsible for the sales forecast of the services & spare parts.
  • You will develop & build a competent team, in order to organise the account management, the execution of maintenance contracts, the technical support and the helpdesk.  Your current team consists of 12 people.
  • You will further assess, improve and manage the service processes and tools in order to support the teams and to help them become more efficient. You will organise knowledge transfer on the projects and customers in cooperation with project operations and sales.
  • You will build know-how and keep track of new evolutions in the customer requirements & competitors’ offerings. You will keep ahead of the industry’s developments and apply best practices.
  • You will report to the Unit Manager.




  • You have a master’s degree in a technical field (engineering).
  • You have a profound experience in (technical) service management, across borders.
  • You have a strong business understanding. You are experienced in communicating with and reporting to industrial customers. 
  • You are a people manager with experience in guiding & motivating an operational team.
  • You are an engineer with a clear mission and a hands-on attitude who is able to translate ideas into practices. You show leadership.
  • You have an open & positive mindset and are willing to travel (20%).
