The plant in Bruges belongs to the Off-Highway division of DANA and is the competence center of torque converters and powershift transmissions for heavy-duty vehicles. Job description

 

As the Program Manager of specific product or customer programs, you will provide leadership and responsibility, including planning, implementation, follow-up, measurement, refinement and improvement of all tasks within the program:

 

  • Successfully manage the programs to 90 days post start of production (SOP) using the company’s program management stage gate and APQP processes.
  • Assemble the core program team and meet all the design-, quality-, production-, financial needs and milestones of the program.
  • Communicate the project’s status through reports and program management reviews at all levels.
  • Identify and resolve project issues, using root cause analysis and provide a robust process for change management.
  • Liaison with the customer regarding program issues, including participation in their meetings. Monitor the project’s concept, budget & schedule for compliance with customer specifications.
  • Coordinate the activities of all cross-functional team members and resolve project team conflicts.
  • Assist the plant with the establishment of production lines and production personnel to maximize utilization of resources.
  • Plan and manage all budgets and costs associated with the program, and adhere to the program pro forma.
  • Sponsor the APQP awareness within the BU and support the development and deployment of change management processes.

 

Profile

 

  • You have a university degree in engineering, with a proven track record in quality assurance processes and project/program management.
  • Experience in a tier one automotive supplier is a strong advantage.
  • Knowledge of APQP and standard automotive quality tools.
  • You have strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • An energetic personality and excellent leadership capabilities to lead multidisciplinary teams.
  • You are willing to travel (±20%).
  • Fluent in English and Dutch.
