For our client, international packaging company we are looking for:

Country Continuous Improvement Manager


Reporting to Managing Director, responsible for six plants in Poland.

Position description:

  • Identification of improvement potentials of the company, actively driving of change processes and achieving the defined project targets
  • Implementation of „Zero Defect“ and „First Time Right” Culture in the organization
  • Adherence to all safety regulations
  • Participation in SHE trainings
  • Cooperation in SUSA audits and risk assessments
  • Supporting actively the Zero Defect initiative
  • Implementation of yearly defined business segment and regional road map projects
  • Defining CI Projects with the line organization based on local needs and Zero Defect audit outcome
  • Creating CI Roadmap including the business segment and regional projects
  • Leading, mentoring and implementing CI projects by using the standard business segment methodologies and templates
  • Being the proactive driver of root-cause analysis in the organization for all Zero Defect pillars
  • Ensuring a proper hand over phase for the new implemented processes and changes to the line organization and following up them afterwards
  • Acting as a change agent by challenging all levels of the organization and anchoring the CI culture in the organization
  • Active contribution to the design of new business segment standards and further developing the existing ones (e.g. Processes, templates, SOP´s, reports, etc.)
  • Proactively supporting best practices within the region and business segment
  • Developing the local organizations CI and 8D analysis knowledge by performing trainings (PSM, 5S, SMED, etc.)
  • Being a role model of Zero Defect and First Time Right culture.
  • Taking the consulting function for taking corrective actions and active participation to validation and preventing measures of claims
  • Making ad-hoc data analysis for highlighting gaps to initiate improvement projects
  • Making sure to integrate the business segment standards into the local ISO Documents


  • University degree in Industrial / Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • More than 5 years’ work experience at a similar position in a production company
  • Practical and theoretical knowledge in Lean Management, Kaizen, Six Sigma
  • Practical and theoretical knowledge in Change Management
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to thoroughly analyze the facts
  • Knowledge of the packaging production processes, technology and material characteristics are considered as a plus
  • MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Fluent English
  • Ability to think conceptual and strategical
  • Leading without hierarchy and having persuasion skills
  • Effective communication skills, with people with different personalities and intellectual skills (establishing authority and trust, empathy, assertiveness )
  • Being authentic, open and consistent in word and action
  • Taking ownership for getting things done - “hands on mentality”
  • Getting commitment and feedback of people and opinion leaders for driving the change
  • Being proactive and decisive and ability to provide reasonable grounds and facts for the decision
  • Foreseeing, predicting the upcoming problems, issues and taking measures against them
  • Coping with stressful situations
  • Willingness to learn and also sharing his knowledge with others
  • Being flexible and adapting to changing environment
