Our Client is an international industrial Group with more than 50 years of history. The Group has production facilities in five countries

and is one of the largest producers of their branch in Europe, offering products and additional services to clients from different industries:

construction, oil & gas, power, shipbuilding, and metallurgical, just to name a few. The Group employs more than eight thousand people.                           

In Poland the Group operates a production plant employing more than thousand people. Currently, due to the ongoing organizational development,

our Client is looking to hire a motivated and experienced candidate for a newly created position of:


Internal Logistics Operations Manager

Location: woj. świętokrzyskie


Key responsibilities:

  • Full accountability for the flawless internal logistics processes management in the plant,
  • Leading a team of 120+ people,
  • Managing scrap-yard, warehousing, transportation (trucks, rail), by-products processing/expedition and weight-bridge activities (sales & purchase),
  • Directing and supervising the work of all relevant subcontractors, including contracts negotiations and planning,
  • Management of operations of finished products: evacuation, storage and expedition.
  • Securing other internal movements operations as necessary for the Company,
  • Coordinating daily cooperation with other departments, especially external logistics and production planning,
  • Team development, motivating, coaching, giving feedback

General requirements:

  • At least several years of managerial experience in logistics, preferably from the heavy industry or the construction sector,
  • University degree, preferably in technical/logistics field,
  • Action oriented, high-level of internal motivation to deliver excellent results,
  • Strong operational management skills, ability to work efficiently in complex structures, coordinating multiple tasks at a time,
  • Top organizational and planning skills, ability to organize team works,
  • Strategic approach, ability to think in long term perspective to minimize all operational risks,
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to build relations at different organizational levels (i.e. floor, board room, third party partners), 
  • People management experience and proven leadership skills,
  • English  - minimum B2
