For our Client, which is a leading company in the beauty care sector in Europe with more than 1,900 stores across 19 European countries, we are looking for candidates for the position of:

Pricing Manager

Location: Warsaw

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop, standardize and update Pricing Management methodology by embedding a clear and consistent framework and KPIs across the organization, covering the areas of portfolio pricing, price architecture, mix management, promotions optimization and discounts and trade terms, for use in all and trade channels.
  • Develop, standardize and update Pricing Management tools, creating visibility of the current landscape and strategy for the future to drive continuous improvement.
  • Be the leading driver of planning and executing strategies within the Commercial Team and Stake Holders specifically the development and full execution of plan, promotional and pricing strategy.
  • Acting as the key driver of all pricing strategies across the Stake Holders focusing on planning, selling and executing against the Category Management and Promotional Excellence.
  • Reviewing and optimizing customer, channel and business plans in light of current and expected business performance metrics, then selling these changes into the wider commercial team and stake holders.
  • Creation and coordination in the development of the business plan through the development of the strategic plan, scenario planning around discounts and promotions and overall promotional strategy.
  • Develop and drive a continuous Price Management cycle.
  • Function as best-practice point to share insights and approach across the Organization.
  • Develop the Pricing Management Governance.
  • Develop strategic insights in the Pricing Management
  • Be a business partner towards the management team and commerce organization in area of Pricing Management.
  • Cross team collaboration with strong focus on capability building that leads to Pricing Management Culture.

Preferred background and competencies:

  • Approximately 3 years of experience in leading price strategies.
  • Experience in retail / FMCG.
  • Strong understanding of pricing methodologies.
  • Proven experience in making recommendations on price optimization activities.
  • Capability of drawing conclusions based on analyzed data.
  • Commercial understanding.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Multitasking.
  • Ability to work under time pressure in a dynamic, fast paced working environment.
  • Team player approach.
  • Fluent English.
