HR Operations Process Redesign - Six Sigma Qualified - 12 Month FTC

Currently working with a high profile client in Surrey who are searching for a Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt qualified HR Business Partner to join them for 12 months on a fixed term basis to carry out a process improvement and redesign project in their HR Shared Service Centre.

The role of HR Continuous Improvement Specialist is responsible for the execution of continuous improvement projects to improve the quality of the service provided by HR Operations. This is a critical role which will establish a culture of continuous improvement across the whole of HR Operations. The role will report to the HR Service Delivery EMEA Lead and will work closely with other HR Operations teams, across the broader HR function and directly with the business.

Duties will include;

  • Developing and maintaining a culture of continuous improvement by actively identifying improvement opportunities across HR Operations and the broader HR function

  • Supporting the HR Service Delivery EMEA Lead in the implementation of continuous improvement programmes

  • Gathering feedback from different teams across HR Operations and stakeholders of HR in order to identify opportunities for improvement across the centre

  • Coaching others to look out for continuous improvement opportunities in order to instil a culture of continuous improvement within HR Operations

  • Report on operational performance & service level agreements through the analysis of KPIs / metrics

  • Identify, develop, and communicate new LEAN / Six Sigma / Operational Efficiency strategies, methodologies and provide tools to execute these within HR Operations. Leveraging continuous Improvement solutions and best practices from other business areas inside and outside HR Operations, as appropriate

  • Own the HR process taxonomy and change request process to maintain a clear scope of services delivered out of HR Operations

  • Look at each process and where end to end processes could be improved, collaborating with process owners to develop/implement the processes

  • Maintain a working knowledge of any on-going delivery issues, changes and/or updates to process & policy and functional requirements, as well as systems capabilities; all to identify opportunities for improvement

  • Continually explore opportunities to improve knowledge management and sharing of best practice across HR Operations

  • Monitor the ES process library, documentation and knowledge management for all cyclical activity to ensure the integrity and on-going delivery of these activities

  • Support resolution of any specialist customer queries and data issues relating directly to cyclical HR activity are resolved; completing route cause analysis to prevent similar issues in the future

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a Shared Service Centre environment as well as significant experience with demonstrated results in the development and implementation of a range of continuous improvement projects, including both technology and process. You MUST have a Six Sigma Black Belt qualification (Yellow or Green will also be considered), should be highly trained in statistical tools, have extensive HR process and transaction experience and knowledge of HR metrics and their applicability. Experience with HRIS applications and complementary HR software solutions is a necessity as is demonstrated knowledge of Project Management Tools and Techniques, and proven people management skills.
